Tape Library ETERNUS LT260 base module with 80 cartridge slots, integrated barcode reader and up to 6 Half Height Tape Drive slots.

You can choose between LTO-6, LTO-7 or LTO-8 Half Height Tape Drives with SAS or FC interface. Mixed configurations are possible. You have to order at least one tape drive with the library as a built-in component. The Library is connected via ADI (Automation Drive Interface).

- One right magazine and one left magazine for 40 data cassettes each, already pre-assembled
- Up to 10 mail slots per module
- Storage capacity from 200 TB (native) up to 16.8 PB (compressed) depending on the tape drive and data cartridges
- Interface depending on tape drive SAS 6Gb/s (SFF8088) or FC 8Gb/s
- Processing of LTO-5, LTO-6, LTO-7 and LTO-8 media possible depending on tape drive. LTO-6 and LTO-7 tape drives can read three LTO generations and write two LTO generations. LTO-8 can read and write two LTO generations.
(Example:
LTO-6 Tape Drive can read LTO-4, LTO-5 and LTO-6 cartridges and write LTO-5 and LTO-6 cartridges; LTO-8 Tape Drive can read and write LTO-7 and LTO-8 cartridges.)
